Global beauty company L’Oréal Paris has welcomed Kendall Jenner as its new global ambassador.
 
The model and reality TV star reportedly signed an $11 million deal to represent the French beauty brand, according to The Sun. Jenner follows in the footsteps of other iconic woman, such as Helen Mirren, Jane Fonda, Jennifer Aniston and Eva Longoria as the new face of L’Oréal.
 
“I’m honored to be part of a new sisterhood of strong, powerful women and to be able to say those iconic words, I’m worth it. Joining the L’Oréal Paris family and having the opportunity to embody everything the brand stands for feels like a true full-circle moment,” said Jenner.
 
“Nobody defines Kendall Jenner but Kendall Jenner. She is the embodiment of everything Gen-Z stands for, owning her image, proudly growing in her self-worth, and inspiring others to do the same,” explained Delphine Viguier, L’Oréal Paris Global Brand President.
 
Jenner’s first campaign will be for the L’Oréal Paris longwear lipstick from Infallible, the franchise coming with the tag line “I’m not infallible, but my makeup is,” for which she is the face. Viguier believes that the tagline chimes with Jenner’s ethos.
 
The ad was shot starting at the end of March.

Kendall’s History with Beauty

Kendall started modeling at the age of 13 and had already accomplished so much by the time she was 22, walking for the biggest fashion houses and collaborating with some of the world’s most powerful brands.
 
Recently, she collaborated with her sister Kylie Jenner to unveil Kendall x Kylie 2.0, a limited-edition makeup collection for Kylie Cosmetics.
 
Her family are also no strangers to the beauty industry. In 2021, her sister Kylie Jenner and Coty Inc. relaunched Kylie Cosmetics with new and improved formulas that are clean and vegan, along with refreshed packaging.
 
Kim Kardashian recently confirmed on Twitter that she is bringing back her KKW Beauty makeup and fragrance lines under the SKKN umbrella—and the products are expected to launch this year.
